Pasquale – Grand Hills Broumana

Simply put, there are good Italian restaurants and then there is Pasquale.

Last month was the opening of Pasquale at Grand Hills Broumana and it wasn’t long till we had the opportunity to try it during a Zomato foodie meet up. We found the interior lacking in identity but the outdoor terrace was beautiful.

The service was impeccable. Professional, friendly and attentive waiters strive to provide you with the best experience possible.

Trio di pomodori con bocconcini // Trilogy of tomatoes with cherry mozzarella, basil and olive oil was light, fresh and just delightful but could use more mozzarella

Insalata di polipo

Insalata di polipo, patate e riduzione di balsamico // Octopus salad with lemon dressing, parsley on mashed potato and balsamic reduction, absolutely perfect!! Let’s just say the plate was wiped clean.

Insalata di rucola al gorgonzola pasquale Carpaccio di manzo Insalata Pasquale

Insalata di rucola al gorgonzola, noci e pere // Rocca salad with gorgonzola cheese, roasted walnuts & pear, the combination is interesting and the pears gave a mild sweetness to the salty, pungent gorgonzola but we found it to be a tad salty.

Carpaccio di manzo // Thinly sliced raw beef fillet with mushrooms & parmesan shavings, simple and tasty.

Insalata Pasquale {mix di frutti di mare con pomodori secchi, pinoli e insalatina di rucola e iceberg al limone} // Pasquale salad {mix seafood salad with sundried tomatoes, pine nuts on rucola, iceberg salad & lemon dressing} Another favourite !! We must say the presentation is just beautiful and it was the perfect last bite before moving on to the pasta.

Penne all’arrabbiata // Penne pasta in spicy tomato sauce was perfectly cooked and spiced.

Gnocchi pasquale s

Gnocchi alla soarentina // Homemade Potato Gnocchi with tomato, basil and parmesan cheese; This dish was outstanding, everyone was talking about the Gnocchi. It was the best Gnocchi dish we’ve had, the sauce was tasty and the Gnocchi was not chewy but rather soft and fluffy.

Spaghetti pasta seafood sauce // A mouthwatering serving of spaghetti loaded with seafood.

Pizza Margherita pasquale

Pizza Margherita // Tomato sauce, mozzarella, oregano and fresh basil.  It was absolutely exquisite, by far the best Margherita we’ve had. This pizza was heavenly.The crust was thin yet extremely soft and the sauce with the cheese was just perfect.

To end a beautiful evening and an appetizing dinner we were treated to a trio of desserts beautifully assembled on a plate. Tiramissu, apple cake with vanilla ice cream and pistachio panna cotta. We enjoyed our dessert especially the tiramisu and apple cake which tasted so good with the vanilla ice cream.
